Where to Buy Zines Online
Find a seller, understand the listing and check the full cost before ordering.

Buying a zine online is easier when the listing tells you what kind of object you will receive. Start with the maker's own shop where possible, then explore specialist sellers for a broader selection.
The examples below were checked in September 2026. Stock and shipping arrangements can change.
Look for the maker's current shop
Use the credited name inside a zine or on its cover to find the maker's website.
Check that the shop is current and that the listing is for the issue you want. A title can have several editions, and a cover photograph may represent a series rather than every copy.
Buying directly can also make it easier to find related work by the same person.
Browse specialist catalogues
Quimby's lists zines alongside other independent publications.
Microcosm combines publishing and distribution, giving readers access to its own titles and work from other publishers.
Wasted Ink Zine Distro offers an online zine selection. Its homepage currently describes shipping as limited to United States addresses, so readers elsewhere should check availability before planning an order.
These are examples of different sellers, not guarantees that a particular title is in stock.
Read the format carefully
Look for the page count, dimensions, binding and whether the purchase is physical or digital.
A PDF download, a print-at-home file and a finished printed issue are different products. If a digital file is meant for printing, check whether it arrives in reading order or already arranged for folding.
For a used copy, look for a description of missing pages, detached covers or other damage. A low price is not helpful if the copy lacks the part you want to read.
Check the complete order
Before paying, review postage, currency and the stated dispatch time.
“Preorder” means the item may not be ready to send yet. “Dispatch” means the seller sends it; it does not mean it will arrive that day.
If you need the zine for a class or event, choose a listing with a schedule that suits that purpose.
Keep a useful record
Save the order confirmation and the title's details. When the copy arrives, note where you bought it if you are building a collection.
If there is a problem, contact the seller with the order number and a clear description. Small operations may not offer an instant response, so use the communication expectations stated by the shop.
For discovering publications without committing to an order, try a zine library.
