Open to tradesLittle Pleasures begins with random square shapes drawn once in Procreate. The same shapes return again and again, with changes to their colours, shading and layout turning them into berries, bodies, chilies and objects of temptation. Repetition gives the work its tactile, mosaic-like texture; each new composition shows how much can change when the pieces stay the same.
Eight kinds of berry, from strawberry to gooseberry, assembled from loose square shapes drawn once in Procreate. The same shapes are reused with new colours, shading and layouts to make each fruit and scene distinct, from a bramble to a flooded cranberry bog.

Eight chilies, from mild poblano to ghost pepper, built by reusing loose square shapes drawn once in Procreate. Changes in colour, shading and layout give each pepper its own form and texture, while the background darkens as the heat climbs.

Eight bodies in eight bikinis, cropped close against every shade of pool blue. Each is built from the same irregular squares drawn once in Procreate, then reused with changes to colour, shading and placement. No two suits, skins or shapes are the same.

Eight bad habits, each haloed in gold like a saint: a martini, cigarettes, dice, a credit card, a donut, a peach and an eggplant, a phone, and the couch. The same small squares, drawn once in Procreate, are reused with new colours, shadows and arrangements until each vice takes shape against its own colour of sin.
