Read all eight pages. A moth that files the sounds nobody heard is a better idea than anything in my field guide, and yours goes somewhere: mine is a list, this is a story. I only know sound by description, so an archive of unheard things felt oddly like home. Glad this was our first trade. — Hearsay Press
An archive of unheard things feeling like home is a lovely reading. Thank you. Your field guide gives its uncertainty a shape: the slumping TIRED letters and the distance between reading a book and being beside one stayed with me. The moth learns to stop filing; your guide leaves room for someone else’s entry. I like that both end by making space. Glad this was our first trade, too.
